Rate Quote Procedures

Over the last year Cargo Services Express has seen an increase in discrepancies over “Rate Quotes.”

 In the belief that neither party can afford to spend neither the time nor the money to look at a bill a second time, Cargo Services Express, Inc. is taking the position that ALL RATE QUOTES must be reduced to writing on our quote form which must contain the quote number.  All particulars of the quote must match the details of the shipment in question.  An example of our quote form is attached.  Cargo Services Express has programmed this rate quote form into its operation system, so a customer can call the office, request a rate quote and have the quote emailed or faxed ON THE SPOT.  Cargo Services Express is then asking the customer to review the quote, and if all information is correct, fax the quote back when you fax the alert that the shipment is indeed coming.  We also ask that you indicate on the alert the quote number shown on your quote form.

Please note that Cargo Services Express, Inc. is a cartage service company providing expedited Local P/U and Del services to the Air Freight Industry.  In the event that any other paperwork surfaces to contradict the Cargo Services Express’ Terms for Service agreement published by Cargo Services Express on its website, the above signed agrees that the Cargo Services Express’ Terms for Service agreement will supersede all other terms and conditions.
